NIRVED KUMAR

I am a final-year PhD candidate (thesis submitted for examination) at IIM Ahmedabad and a Mirae Asset Foundation Scholar, studying youth, skilling, early-career professionals, and the internationalisation of higher education at the intersection of management, public policy, and education. My work takes an organisational lens to these questions, drawing on mixed methods. My doctoral work focuses on the rise and influence of fellowship programs, informed by qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

I am also co-authoring an academic book on Global Engagement Centres and the Internationalisation of Higher Education for Palgrave Macmillan (2026).

Before the PhD, I spent three years in public administration and policy implementation, working across central, state, and district levels on projects in education, governance, and development.

I am driven by a desire to bridge policy, practice, and research in the service of early-career professionals, youth, and learning.
